About Ritzie James Williams

I am a multidisciplinary designer that is passionate about growth. I know “growth” is a very general term but it encompasses things like helping start or expand businesses, creating products that help people, and help teams become more efficient in their processes. My passion toward personal growth lead me to study various areas besides user experience design such as graphic design, business strategy, marketing, and development in order to better understand and communicate user needs with cross-functional teams. To be blunt, I want to make the world better by helping build products that solve people’s problems.

My Core Values

  • To me, growth means constantly evolving — as a designer, leader, and person. My journey from being a basketball player to leading design teams has taught me that improvement comes from discipline, feedback, and adaptability. I believe growth happens at the edge of discomfort — when I challenge myself to learn new skills, explore new ideas, and push beyond what feels familiar. Every project, success, or setback is an opportunity to grow into a stronger version of myself.

  • Integrity is the foundation of how I work and lead. Whether managing a UX team or collaborating with developers, I believe in being transparent, consistent, and accountable. My experience in both sports and design has shown me that trust is earned through action — by doing what’s right, even when it’s difficult or unseen. Integrity means keeping my word, delivering quality work, and building relationships rooted in honesty and respect.

  • Hard work has always been part of my DNA. From long nights in the gym perfecting my jump shot to managing multiple product launches, I’ve learned that results come from persistence and preparation. I don’t believe in shortcuts — I believe in showing up, putting in the effort, and setting a standard of excellence. Hard work isn’t just about long hours; it’s about dedication to craft, attention to detail, and pride in everything I create.

  • Determination is what pushes me through challenges and uncertainty. In basketball, I learned that setbacks aren’t failures — they’re fuel. That same mindset carries into my design career: when a concept doesn’t land or a project hits a wall, I stay focused on finding solutions. Determination means staying committed to the goal, adapting to obstacles, and maintaining resilience even when the path isn’t clear.

  • Ambition is my drive to keep building, creating, and improving. It’s what led me from designing for major companies like Herbalife Nutrition and BOLD to launching my own ventures like Weeat and Royal Montague. Ambition keeps me future-focused — not on comparison, but on potential. I’m always striving to push boundaries, elevate my impact, and design experiences that make a difference in people’s lives.

From Baller to More

I come from a competitive sports background — basketball shaped not only my discipline but my entire approach to work and life. The game taught me that success isn’t accidental; it’s built through consistency, preparation, and resilience. Basketball emphasized doing the right thing at the right time, reading situations quickly, and adapting under pressure — skills that now define how I lead teams, design experiences, and grow businesses. The same drive that pushed me to outwork the competition on the court now fuels my creativity and ambition in every project I take on. These lessons — discipline, adaptability, and relentless work ethic — are the foundation of who I am and what my personal brand represents today.
